Experience the ultimate passwordless authentication combining magic links and passkeys. Users sign up with magic links, optionally add passkeys, and can choose their preferred authentication method for future logins.
Demo Instructions
- • Enter your email address to get started
- • Use the 🔐 button for instant passkey login (if you have one registered)
- • System will detect if you're new or returning
- • New users: magic link verifies email → optionally add passkey
- • Returning users: choose magic link or passkey to login
- • Use the "Click Magic Link" button to simulate clicking the email link
- • Check the console for all email communications and JWT tokens
How This Demo Works
📧 Getting Started:
Enter your email address and the system will automatically detect if you're a new user or returning user. If you already have a passkey registered, you can use the 🔐 button for instant passkey login - no extra steps needed!
🆕 For New Users:
You'll receive a magic link via email that verifies your email and signs you in. After that, you can optionally add a passkey (like Touch ID or Face ID) for faster future logins.
🔄 For Returning Users:
You can choose between two login methods:
- • Magic Link: Click a link sent to your email
- • Passkey: Use your device's biometric authentication (Touch ID, Face ID, etc.)
❌ What Happens If You Cancel Passkey:
If you start the passkey login but cancel it (click "Cancel" or close the prompt), the magic link option will become highlighted in orange with a helpful tip. This makes it easy to switch to the email-based login instead.
